I ditto that, for your last sentence. I was thinking today, before the adjusts, that I've seen something like this before.. Suddenly, for a
few weekends, it's like the shore dries up. And what comes after that, usually? A minor tsunami. Or it's just like ebb and flow, if one wants to put less dramatic words to it.
In any event, usually when we see two or three (or even four) weak weekends, it's usually followed by a surprisingly big one - as pent up demand is released. I couldn't say for sure it'll be this coming weekend, but it's Memorial Day weekend, so chances are it will be.. (?)
And like I discussed yesterday, both of these movies seem to cater well to women, but only Prince of Persia has a chance at four-quad appeal. And it's priced vastly lower than SATC2 at the moment. I know nothing, but chances are that this one is a sleeper hit - and there definitely doesn't seem to be much of a downside to it, in my strictly personal assessment at the moment.
