Yeah, pretty much these Disney+ showings are qualifying only. Lightyear final/yes/no on purely theatrical or not probably April/May?
If SONIC 2 opens to 50+ million or goes absolutely nuts with 80-100+ it's going to be hard for Disney to justify not at least giving it a Disney Premiere release. If it drops down to 30-40 and Fantastic Beasts 3 and Bad Guys are lukewarm 20-30 million openings, that would be enough ammunition for Chapek to defend going Disney+ with it, also they'll have metrics from Turning Red (even if Nielsen won't publish until Mid April, Samba TV should have something posted this upcoming week).
Next Quarterly Earnings isn't likely until the week after Dr. Strange 2, if that's 150+ million, announcing they are going Disney+ on Lightyear would also be harder to justify. If it's just a small bump up from Dr. Strange, gets a bit less hard.
