I'm sure someone can check my math... but to max out on the IPO, it's going to cost me $30,300,000, including commission.

To sell enough stock to have $30,300,000 left after the sale, you're going to pay 306,060.60 in commission.
Then buying the IPO costs you another $300,000 in commission.

So we're $606,060.60 in the hole to start.

If I want to make $1,000,000... I actually need it to grow by 1,606,060.60... but then I'm going to pay another 1% on the sale, so it really needs to be at least 316,060.61 higher than that. Rounding things off, the total growth of the stock really needs to be a touch under $2,000,000, which corresponds to roughly $13.33 per share.
