I think both films are hurt by release plans. I am surprise Fcous don't send "The Northman" to festivals and release it in Oscar season

Posted by: Peterlee (a.k.a Peterlee (from past)) on Apr 15, 19:05 in response to Peterlee's post sorry.... 'pre-sale' (not pre-sell)

"Massive Talent" should also has platform release. Nic Cage did too many bad films; it need words of mouthto bulid the film. (like A24 "Everything Everywhere All at Once ")

BOT: looks like "Massive Talent" is doing worse than "The Northman" in pre-sell Peterlee Apr 15, 18:56

Northman is about Intl, US will not be the driver for it. Lionsgate should have held Massive to SDCC and August but is distracted notfabio Apr 15, 21:18

Northman really isn't a festival movie and won't get any major Oscar noms RupertPupkin Apr 15, 21:58

I see info from one single location on that page. {nm} Antibody Apr 16, 08:09
