Lionsgate has struggled with ROI on its bigger films.

It's a regular trend for Lionsgate (even with significant production budgets) to underperform at the box office. The reality is they don't have the linear tv options that Paramount, NBC Universal, and Disney have to promote their films. That's a huge part of the issue.
