I don't see it. The people that are gonna see TWLI3 are gonna see it, not Airbender. They're a committed, front loaded group.
They go see the movie as soon as possible.
New Moon did more than one third of it's total box office in the first 36 hours. After that, it was all downhill. Look at the difference between its opening day Friday number and the first Sunday number. The drop off is staggering. And then go compare first and second weekend, and even second and third weekend. Again, the drop off is HUGE.
There is on element that could enable TWLI3 to play over the entire July 4th weekend frame. And that would be if the movie is truly good. And there's actual good word of mouth.
