It pretty much just forces, at a minimum, what Netflix gives its serious contenders already. So........

In other words, if Netflix/etc were looking to give less serious theatrical releases to its Best Picture contenders going forward, i.e. reverting back to just one week and that's good enough for EVERYTHING (ala RED NOTICE) they won't be able to do that.

So in the future if there's a title they are on the fence about a BP campaign like ALL QUIET, they'll need to give it at least two weeks theatrical.
