Who could have predicted parents wouldn't take their kids to see a movie where the villain is the one who refuses to grant any & all wishes

Or a Marvel movie with killer kittens and a civilization that communicates in musicals?
Make excuses all you want (you being the studios/filmmakers), inspiring movies that present traditional values naturally, even if they use well known devices to evoke emotions, do better than those that preach at you or have a social agenda clearly jammed in.
