I don’t think the Safdie/Sandler movie will have that much bearing since that one will be only Josh, not Benny.
Here's the thing with TROCK, though. What is his upcoming schedule like? The only upcoming movie of his with a set release is the live action Moana in June 2025. He's supposed to be doing the standalone Hobbs movie, but we haven't heard an official peep about it since it was announced six months ago and despite it being a bridge between Fast X Part I and II, Fast X Part II has a release date in April 2025 while the Hobbs movie does not. They haven't even announced a director yet and they could have hired one considering they didn't go on strike.
