I only realized later that this movie is the first time DLIMA has directed Matt Damon since The Bourne Identity.
I still remember that from my earliest days on HSX, especially when someone posted that the production was in trouble and the movie might never come out. I think at the time, there were three Bourne movies on the exchange and they all dropped like a rock... but then the Bourne Identity came out and became a surprise hit, leading to that blockbuster franchise. (Though Liman was gone after the first movie. I've spoken to him and others over the years, confirming some of the problems on that production)
I hope DLIMA doesn't find out what happened with the NYC screening of Instigators tonight. Jul 31, 18:05
