From Uni: HBAIL and RPAGE to star in Italianna, directed by Kat Coiro. To be released April 10, 2026. IPO needed?

Halle Bailey (The Little Mermaid, The Color Purple) and Regé-Jean Page (Black Bag, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) are set to star in Italianna for Universal Pictures, with Kat Coiro (Marry Me, Matlock) set to direct. Ryan Engle (Rampage, Beast) wrote the screenplay for the film based on an original idea by Ryan Engle and Kristin Engle. Will Packer and Johanna Byer will produce the film through Will Packer Productions’ first look deal with Universal Pictures.
