This movie has little chance of a wide release IF completed under the now current Paramount ownership

Not to mention in the current political climate/leadership by those guys looking for favors from them for completing deals. 
Maybe better to revive it post 2028 ...if similar owners haven't bought all of Hollywood by then.
That's besides the fact the movie itself may not be all that great.
