The sooner everyone accepts that the Oscars are not a barometer or a reward of quality, but an election mostly based on PR campaigns
then everyone can stop attaching so much importance to it (which no one really watches anyway). Its hard to get people to watch more than 20 movies to begin with so changing the way the voters watch the movies isn't going to matter much
