You might be right. The only things this next film has going for it is Denis Villeneuve and Steven Knight.

I seriously believed this franchise had completely jumped the shark with the last film and then the sale to Amazon of all places.

Next thing we were all hearing was the possibility of Bezos' "wife" (LMAO) being put in the movie, and it really was time to walk away from it.

But hearing that Villeneuve really is gonna direct it, and Knight is writing it, that makes it at least possible it could be a decent film. But that's it; I think whoever they select is going to be an underwhelming choice, and many will no longer care.
