Should every movie be made in 3D?
I just heard a radio show of Stephen Siu (the producer of "3D Sex and Zen"). He indicated that the real world is in 3D, so almost all movies also need to be made in 3D. He also predicted that 3D format will become the norm of filmmaking. He said that Akira Kurosawa didn't want to make a color movie until Kurosawa finally made a color movie himself.
I think his points seems reasonable. In the nearly future, maybe even most of IFC's releases are 3D movies.

"Avatar" is the only 3D film I have seen. My glasses worked fine, but I didn't get the point. The technology added nothing... Oct 08, 21:42
