i know it's not an exact comparison, but Scott Pilgrim is the first movie that comes to mind. huge following. big to-do at comic-cons, etc. not a blockbuster smash hit by far. obviously, Scott Pilgrim didn't have Disney behind it, a previous movie, etc. i understand that. this should have a better showing for sure. there's a lot of older folk that love Tron, but do kids even know what Tron is? do they even care? why would they like something their parents like?
but i could be very, very wrong. we'll see.
