Tyler Perry takes over Morgan Freeman originated role in Cross [CROSS]! RazorHawk Jan 31, 21:52

Also says that Lionsgate recently acquired [TMYWF] starring TPERR and TROCK {nm} secretstalker Feb 01, 05:22

THR is also saying that [RCOHE] is the new director Oleg Max Feb 01, 06:21

This is another project, not the one by Twohy (which is what is on the exchange)... D. Mac should delist CROSS and IPO the new movie. {nm} secretstalker Feb 01, 06:25

Or just change it over, but it's clear to me from reading both stories that these are competing Cross projects with different producers. {nm} secretstalker Feb 01, 06:25

I doubt novelist James Patterson sold the rights to the same character/book to two competing projects {nm} RazorHawk Feb 01, 06:32

"Cross" and "I, Alex Cross" are two different books by James Patterson; one can write an adaptation to try and get rights. secretstalker Feb 01, 07:35

If they're competing, more likely we'll have two stocks - like with the competing Alexander projects {nm} RogerMore Feb 01, 06:33

Reading over it again, it does seem like the same project although the plot for I, Alex Cross is slightly different from Cross. {nm} secretstalker Feb 01, 07:36

(Then again, knowing Deadline, they may have rewritten the piece after reading the discussions here cause I read it just fine the first time {nm} secretstalker Feb 01, 07:45

Ah, I see my mix-up... I had read and was responding to the THR story which made it sound like two separate projects. secretstalker Feb 01, 07:57

Next time, why don't you just sit tight and not make a big fuss about it like you actually know what you're talking about. Just an idea. Apokalips Feb 01, 11:59

Will he dress up as a big fat woman who looks like a man but everyone acts like is a woman? {nm} Broiler Feb 01, 14:53
