My personal theory (and this is just a theory) is that there's an inertia factor that affects prices.
In other words, no new investors in the stock --> stock price goes down
With Austin Powers 4, the stock has been active for 8 years, and there's been no news on it for about that time. Â Everyone who wants to own it bought it years ago. No one buying stocks now wants to buy it, so the stock goes down in price.
Compare that with the other stocks in the top 10 most widely held. They have all entered production and all have release dates this year or next. Those are good reasons why someone buying Moviestocks today would choose to invest in them, so the price remains buoyant.
But this is just my personal theory and others can correct me.

Because it's the trading (BUY/SELL/SHORT/COVER) that cause price movements, not shares held. {nm} Mar 01, 16:51
