Movies are dropped from the TAG in order of RELEASE date, oldest first. In case of a tie (MDAMO coming up) the lower box office drops first
In the case of RREYN, for example, TURB1 is opening 2 days earlier than RIPD. They will adjust simultaneously because they delist on the same date, but down the road, TURB1 will drop from the TAG first.
In the case of MLPAR who has RIPD and RED2 opening on the same date, the movie with the lower box office total (not delist amount) will drop from the TAG first.
In the case of MCHIK, ARISE opened before FOUR2 and will be dropped from the TAG first. Once they are in the TAG, the adjust dated DOES NOT MATTER, only release date.
In programming, you need to have 2 fields. A release date field, which I assume you have, and an adjust date field, calculated from the adjust date. (Normally +25 or +81) You may need a release date adjustment field to calculate for days before (or after) Friday for those movies not released on a Friday. You probably have a wide/limited marker field. But movies out of the TAG have to be sorted by release date as first critereon, and box office as the tie-breaker.
I am not sure if you are entering the movies manually into the 1,2,3,4,5 spots, or are programming it.
