As long as it is above the adjust, it will execute. You are correct that if it adjusts higher, it won't execute.
But, you can't enter an order on a halted stock or bond. Had to be in before the halt.

if i am wrong and it addjust to 20.01 it wont fill right? if i set at 39.99 will it fill at 39.99 or what it adjusts to Sep 16, 18:39
You already know what it is going to adjust to, so there is no particular benefit to pick a number higher than that. Sep 16, 18:45
