Just in case no one found the "list", here's a link. It's been quite boring over the summer. This is like the 3rd close one sine April. tThe first one a fireball was seen over Texas. Last month a fireball over California. There was also an earthquake in line with the asteroid point of entry.

I have a theory that says we may never actually seen an impact with substancial damage simply because the speed of light requires us to catch up to the light and by the time we get there, it's just a fireball. It also includes that at impact everything freezes and takes 3.5 billion years to thaw out to the next viable moment in time. Though this happens instantly for us.
If you've ever seen the ending to Surrogates, you get the idea of what I'm hinting at. I almost believe it myself. It's realy hard to make the idea believeable, but on an individual nature, I am a believer. Expect to live a very, very long time.
