<PRIVATE UNINFORMED>. In the US, vaccination records are a requirement for children to attend school. Some vaccinations are questionable
and should be the right of the parent to choose. ie. Hep A/C and the HPV (Human papillomavirus) with insufficient lab studies or history to long term effects for Cervical Cancer prevention. The Government of Texas (at least) has decreed this HPV vaccination as mandatory and had we not moved the year of instatement, my child would not have been allowed to attend school without it.
When we moved to Texas, our kids had to top up their vaccinations with some that were optional in Canada.
As a Canadian, I have the right to refuse medical care (whether it be for vaccination purposes or other) and as an American, some of those rights are stripped away with these rules...
SO, with respect to SOME vaccinations, I can totally support the point.
