plotblocking is the cost of doing business and i guess im okay with that
i'll take a 8 hour good-but-with-lots-of-filler stranger things over a 90 minute great-but-never-gets-made stranger things (like it said, theyre not making mid-range movies anymore)
The Last Ship this seasons first 6 episodes were one giant plotblock, but the last 4 have been outstanding, better than any action movie this year for sure.
I just binged Mr Robot season 2(so far) . talk about plotblock! 8 episodes, maybe a third of it was really good stuff, the rest filler. but what am i supposed to do? complain to an industry that cant help it, or just enjoy whats good and be glad i got that? yeah, in a perfect world every single story gets told in exactly the right amount of time, but good luck with that! :)
