Justin Timberlake is your Super Bowl halftime entertainment (yawn) slipping jimmy Oct 22, 18:11

Just what the NFL Kneeds. {nm} Captain Obvious Oct 22, 20:13

*Obligatory bring back Up With People post* {nm} islndr Oct 23, 08:09

blast from the past! {nm} tealfan Oct 23, 09:36

:) I was going to say that, but wasn't sure anyone would get it. While I'm not sure I would watch it, he's better than the last many year {nm} JDolphin Oct 23, 12:19

years choices. However I realize I'm far away from the audience they are aiming at. {nm} JDolphin Oct 23, 12:22

2017 top tours (who haven't been Super Bowl acts before): Guns N Roses, Justin Bieber, Metallica, Depeche Mode, Ed Sheeran, Eric Church {nm} slipping jimmy Oct 23, 15:42

Millenials will ask Who? about GnR, Metallica, and Depeche. Seniors will say F’ No to Bieber and Ed. And no clue what an Eric Church is. {nm} islndr Oct 23, 16:14

i would be the NFL has higher demos in the Gen X and Baby Boomer age groups than millennials {nm} slipping jimmy Oct 23, 16:24

I don’t think the boomers would go for the rock bands either tho. {nm} islndr Oct 23, 16:31

I would have chosen Imagine Dragons... they have a recent album and singles... RazorHawk Oct 23, 16:59

or honestly, I would have shelled out the big bucks for a One Direction reunion show (with each member also getting a solo song) {nm} RazorHawk Oct 23, 17:03

Imagine dragons only if you like sellout advertising jingles {nm} islndr Oct 23, 17:07

The NFL loves that stuff. Remember that year they got The Who to play all the CSI theme songs? {nm} RogerMore Oct 24, 05:51

You don't think any of these performances (links) are better than recent halftime shows?... RazorHawk Oct 24, 09:54

The songs are catchy, but no one can honestly say ID feels like a legit rock band. islndr Oct 24, 10:50

This is Eric Church... RazorHawk Oct 23, 16:55

Sorry but that’s a big Yawn {nm} islndr Oct 23, 17:08
