Interesting. I did the math (as a grad with an Econ degree, + some Econ courses in my MPA). It's pretty obvious who this benefits.

Unless you believe the fairy tale of Trickle-Down economics (which historically has been proven to be much smaller of a trickle than Republicans wanted us to believe at the time), there's no rational argument here to argue that this is anything but a tax cut for the wealthiest.

But of course, you can always just bleat out 'propaganda' to anyone who's facts disprove your theory.

GOP appears to have enough congressional votes to give away $1.5 trillion to the top 1%, explode national deficits, kick 13m off health care {nm} slipping jimmy Dec 15, 17:44

Sigh. Anybody that's ever done a tax return and given even a cursory review of the propsed changes knows this is absolutely false. PhoneHome Dec 16, 15:31

"Republicans agreed the tax rewrite could add up to $1.5 trillion in debt over 10 years." at a minimum, it's written into the law slipping jimmy Dec 16, 19:12

Paul Ryan promised the tax bill would allow taxpayers to file their return on a postcard. Yeah, not happening either slipping jimmy Dec 17, 13:53

Repeating. Quit reading the propaganda and do the math. These articles work really hard at ignoring the basic benefits to those who need it. PhoneHome Dec 17, 05:49

What do you base your belief that the corporate tax cuts will lead to more jobs on? History does not bear this out. BSmurf Dec 17, 07:46

History absolutely bears it out. Read a history book instead of left-wing propaganda, look at charts and GDP after tax cuts. You will see a PhoneHome Dec 17, 15:12

History and the charts are clear - the RIGHT tax cuts work. Trickle-down cuts for the wealthy DON'T. dubord.s Dec 17, 19:38

You're funny Jimmy. I keep saying quit reading propaganda and do your own calculations, and you keep countering with more propoganda. PhoneHome Dec 17, 15:04
