Walmart is boosting its starting hourly wage to $11.00, matching that of Target.

Delivering bonuses to employees, ranging from $200 to $1,000, depending on seniority.

10 weeks of paid maternity leave.

6 weeks of paternal leave

Parents who adopt will get the same benefits, along with an extra $5,000.

“Tax reform gives us the opportunity to be more competitive globally and to accelerate plans for the U.S.,” Chief Executive Officer Doug McMillon said in the statement.
