Dems don't care about the law abiding immigrants that stand in line. Only the fence jumpers and tunnel diggers that break the law.
An immigrant that is going to wait legally for years to enter America as a citizen, might be a law abiding traditional conservative regardless of their country of origin. They may even vote republican.
An immigrant that is going to jump a fence, crawl through a tunnel, or hide out in the back of a cargo truck, does not care about the law, any law. They don't care about other people, other immigrants standing in line with intentions of abiding by the laws of the land. They may even vote democratic, (legally or illegally). Can't imagine any voting station in a sanctuary city or sanctuary state would care if they voted legally or illegally.
Dems just continue trying to move us into a liberal, global, universal, single payer, socialistic / communistic everything state. If the rest of the US citizens refuse to follow them, they will just continue to get new citizens, by any means possible.
