Not enjoying this ranking system change...
It feels like instead of earning position jumps, even if against dormant players (which felt like making progress) I got a large unearned position jump, but going forward I will have far less sense of movement relative to all players ever, it will be more difficult to move up in the "active" postions (which removes a bit of the psychological fun) and I could drop simply due to an old player making a trade.
For the percentages, after striving for years to get into the 99% zone (99.4%, whoo-hoo) my percetage dropped overnight to 94.9% (quite the hit).
This is all just a game, but I do wonder how this change will impact new players (who may not get positive feelings of jumping as much in the ranks as they play) as well as old.
