Rupert Everett and Judi Drench will star in an adaptation of the famous Oscar Wilde play The Importance of Being Earnest. The comedy is being developed at Miramax. Everett wil portray Algernon while Drench will appear as Lady Bracknell. Everett is no stranger to Oscar Wilde as the talented actor appeared in An Ideal Husband which was a Miramax film.
