Steven Spielberg reunites with Tom Hanks on a thriller based on real events during the Cold War. Hanks plays James Donovan, an American attorney enlisted by the CIA to slip past the Berlin Wall on his own to negotiate the release of Gary Power, the pilot of the U-2 spy plane shot down over Russia in 1960. Mark Rylance co-stars in the film scripted by Matt Charman.
