Flight 93 is based on the fateful events of the hijacked airliner on September 11. The film unfolds in real time as the doomed San Francisco-bound aircraft departed Newark airport and eventually crashed in a Pennsylvania field after passengers fought the hijackers for control of the plane. The terrorists’ target was believed to be either the White House or the Capitol. The film is directed by Paul Greengrass (Bourne Supremacy).
