NominOptions allow traders to buy and sell the hottest Oscar contenders with these exclusive Hollywood Derivatives centered around the 88th Academy Awards.
Eighteen NominOptions will be offered in the Best Picture category at H$5.00. The NominOptions will halt trading on Wednesday, January 13th at 6 pm Pacific in preparation for the announcement of the Oscar nominations by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Thursday, January 14th.
Each NominOption of a nominated film will cash out at H$9.00 if there are 10 nominees, H$10 if there are 9 nominees, H$11.25 if there are 8 nominees, H$12.85 if there are 7 nominees, H$15 if there are 6 nominees or H$18 if there are 5 nominees. Those that fail to secure a nomination will delist at H$0.00.
