Description

Anthony Mackie will star as Jesse Owens in a biopic of the late great athlete. Owens competed in the 1936 Olympics in Germany where he beat Lutz Long and shamed the Nazi regime. However, Owens endured racism back at home where blacks were denied equal rights. James L. White, who scripted Ray, pens the screenplay.
