Description

Proof of Life follows a hostage negotiator who travels to Columbia to free an American executive. However, when the negotiator begins to fall in love with the executive's wife, he must cope with his conflict of interests.

Taylor Hackford directs from the Tony Gilroy script. The Warner Bros. release stars Meg Ryan and Russell Crowe, who turned on-screen romance into off-screen romance, becoming easy target for the Hollywood tabloids.
