Adam Shankman will direct the feature adaptation of the Tony-award winning musical Rock of Ages. Set at a club on the Sunset Strip, a guy and a girl fall in love against the fast moving rock 'n roll lifestyle. The musical features songs by Pat Benatar, Journey, Bon Jovi, Foreigner, Twisted Sister and REO Speedwagon. Chris D’Arienzo, who wrote the original book, will script for the film.
