The Weinstein Company was formed in 2005 by Bob and Harvey Weinstein when they left Miramax, the distributor they founded in 1979 and sold to Disney in 1993. As part of the settlement from Disney, the Weinstein brothers took several projects with them as well as the genre-label Dimension Films.
Weinstein Co. Studio Fund will invest in films distributed domestically by the Weinstein Company, Dimension Films and Radius-TWC.
Studio Funds delist and relist annually in September.
