The quirky comedic drama Wristcutters: A Love Story came from the Sundance writing lab. The film is set in an afterlife way station that is a place for suicides. People come by in search of lost love and self-discovery. Shannyn Sossamon plays a hitchhiker who doesn’t realize that she died of an accidental drug overdose. She meets another suicide victim played by Patrick Fugit and the two try to figure out their predicament. Goran Dukic makes his directorial debut based on Etgar Keret’s screenplay.
