First trailer for Poor Things

Searchlight has revealed the teaser trailer for the fantasy drama Poor Things [PRTHN] from filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos [YLANT].  Emma Stone [ESTON] stars as a young woman brought back to life by a scientist, played by Willem Dafoe [WDAFO]. Eager to learn about the outside world, she runs off with a lawyer, played by Mark Ruffalo [MRUFF] and embark on a whirlwind adventure that opens her mind to female equality and liberation. Poor Things opens in theaters on September 8th.
