Disney has unleashed the teaser trailer for the Pixar animated Turning Red [TURED]. Rosalie Chiang voices a 13-year-old who suddenly turns into a giant red panda whenever she gets too excited. Sandra Oh [SOH] voices her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother. Directed by Domee Shi who won an Oscar for her 2018 short film "Bao", Turning Red arrives in theaters on March 11, 2022.
Setting a new opening weekend mark for the pandemic era, Black Widow [BWDOW] caught an estimated $80 million to lead the weekend box office. The last chapter The Fate of the Furious tumbled 61% in its second weekend, while the spinoff Hobbs & Shaw declined 58%. The holiday weekend may lessen the fall a tad. Drac and his monster pack have been turned back into humans, while Johnny has become a monster. In their new forms, they must team up and race against time to find a cure. Previously scheduled to open in July, Hotel Transylvania: Transformania will now arrive in theaters on October 1st.
