Does someone want to handle my account? ronex Mar 11, 18:20

I'd take it. You could probably sell it on ebay. People would be willing to pay for your portfolio. {nm} 121Jigowatts Mar 11, 19:19

I would be interested. I have 3 of my own and I check them all reg. {nm} Jubbagga Mar 13, 11:22

Let me guess what the names of your multiple accounts are: Zhiago33, Jubbagga and ? (hint?) {nm} PVL Admin Mar 13, 13:51

Heads up!!! Daylight Saving Time change. Take note of new game time relative to your local time. {nm} osmosis2003 Mar 11, 04:18

ok in uk its back end of the month.same for usa or different? {nm} swordfish1 Mar 11, 06:50

Different here in the U.S. now...Congress moved it up to 2nd weekend in March now...used to be last weekend in March. {nm} Flash Mar 11, 07:27

thanks flash.looks like things just got harder for me now lol {nm} swordfish1 Mar 11, 08:34

Don't forget the Upper US, which went along with the change....We fall back first weekend of November {nm} Buy StarBond Fund 18 Mar 11, 09:39

I'm really frustrated! I'll place an order for MAX sell or short and it won't go through! I repeat and repeat and lose fake money as the... Ryan_Stewart Mar 09, 22:18

You are not representing the situation accurately. Shorting and selling will go through just fine if the stock price changes PVL Admin Mar 09, 22:33

thanks Rockey123. You're absolutley right. Beer and trading don't mix well. I start to point fingers when I have a buzz on. {nm} Ryan_Stewart Mar 09, 22:37

I'll do some simple math and keep the finger pointed at myself next time. {nm} Ryan_Stewart Mar 09, 22:38

But, dude!! did you see OMARS react to the latest estimate??? Lost 600K trying to get a trade thu!! {nm} Ryan_Stewart Mar 09, 22:39

I did see that...fortunately for me, I saw the DL post before the forum post so I had already shifted my positions before most people saw it {nm} PVL Admin Mar 09, 23:29

Uhhh...I meant thru...Molson Golden!! dude!! {nm} Ryan_Stewart Mar 09, 22:40

In HSX, MAX means shares available not affordable. So you need to know how much you can afford if you want the trade to go thru the 1st time {nm} JDolphin Mar 09, 22:33

Not right, "Buy Max" does mean "buy the maximum you can afford at this moment before orders are executed" (further inside) DTravel Mar 10, 10:42

But if you are short on cash and you want the trade to go thru, you're better off not using Max, but calculating a lesser amount {nm} JDolphin Mar 10, 13:47

For a fast moving stock, the price difference on a Max affordable could make it unaffordable at trade process time, {nm} JDolphin Mar 10, 13:49

I think it would take a HUGE price diff for that to happen, I've had trades go thru that cost $10K+ more than I had in cash. DTravel Mar 10, 14:47

Happens all the time for me. SOMETIMES it will let me go negative, but OFTEN it just fails. {nm} PVL Admin Mar 10, 16:03

[SCIFI] I blame myself for buying without investigating the manager; but the timing of your "bulletin" is annoying. {nm} kibitzer Mar 10, 16:58

I've moved around 8% of my portfolio and updated my radars. monsieurcinema Mar 08, 16:39

not supposed to talk about which way you are holding things, except during gutcheck time {nm} lapuckfan Mar 08, 16:49

I think HSX has said "calls to action" are discouraged, things like "buy this, it's a good stock" or "sell this, the director quit" etc..I Flash Mar 09, 09:23

Wow is right! He must be really dragging his feet today... {nm} PVL Admin Mar 05, 20:00

RattyBatty has arguably had a better day at +11 mil while having a port nearly 2 billion smaller than me. Paul2k Mar 05, 20:22

What has been your largest day, Paul2k? {nm} dioneta Mar 05, 23:34

Hey that rhymed. According to the Billionaire League which has records going back to May of last year, my best day was 18.57 mil. mroast had Paul2k Mar 06, 06:03

Thats incredible! I'm still working towards my first $10M/day :) {nm} dioneta Mar 06, 09:36

Go back to rap school. "Day" does not rhyme with "thousand". ;) {nm} PVL Admin Mar 06, 12:43

I'm kinda bummed that the Multibillion league has gone, along with the record that I had a bigger day that mroast. {nm} RogerMore Mar 06, 18:08

and I am bummed that my record day is not recorded anywhere. {nm} RazorHawk Mar 11, 19:57

Well slappy, you had a ~$8M day, which is arguably better than both! {nm} PRodQuanta Mar 06, 07:28

Yeah, it was one of my best days ever! :) {nm} slappydavid Mar 06, 14:32

Question about post-adjust strategy dave3626 Mar 05, 11:09

Not really. Unfortunately, the post-adjust play is a crapshoot. Paul2k Mar 05, 11:23

That's too bad. I was hoping to get into the post adjust groove and make some money on upcoming openers after adjust. {nm} dave3626 Mar 05, 12:34

The only real sure thing is when something like TWLI or HPOT were/are in play. You know that they will never make their adjust price. Paul2k Mar 05, 12:59

I'd rather my pants be up around my waist. Anyhow I'll take the advice on the super-blockbusters (HPOT) and say thanks for that. {nm} dave3626 Mar 05, 13:12

I had my pants in the location you suggested. I am still diggin out of the red. Good thing there was news today. {nm} PVL Admin Mar 05, 13:22

Your assumption about the timing of the brake release is wrong. {nm} Antibody Mar 05, 16:35

:) You're such a tease. I know, I know, you can't reveal the secret sauce. But here I am, making an **** out of me and umption. {nm} Paul2k Mar 05, 18:57

Just curious.. Why does HSX use the "brakes"? What's the reasoning for tempering the movement of the market? {nm} dave3626 Mar 07, 07:41

It also matters whether a movie is front loaded - those generally drop faster than your average movie {nm} JDolphin Mar 05, 18:51

Can someone tell me until what time a halt occurs approx,?? In this case, when will Lorax be ajusted and become active again? {nm} gardavou Mar 04, 03:38

You can check the calendar for all halts/adjusts/delists (link inside). Normally, MovieStocks halt Saturday at 6pm Pacific. eyescovered Mar 04, 07:31

I did read all the info, but its not written anywhere...I dont need to know what time the stock halts, but what time it becomes active again {nm} gardavou Mar 04, 08:07

I usually log in around 12-1pm Pacific Time, and find that openers have been adjusted, and can then be traded...but Flash Mar 04, 08:16

HSX adjusts the weekend openers usually around 9:30-10:30am PST {nm} RazorHawk Mar 04, 08:32

the stock is tradeable as soon as it adjusts...after adjust, the price is unfrozen at tonight's reset (midnight Pacific time) {nm} tealfan Mar 04, 09:45
