HSX – OW Competition – Rules & Regulations
1. The OW Competition is a competition designed to determine which Player is best at guessing the OW (Opening Weekend) for Movies in Wide Release.
2. Each Player is permitted one OW Guess for each Movie in Wide Release and may not change or alter that OW Guess once it is Registered.
3. All OW Guesses must be Registered in the League Comment Section no later than Thursday 12:00 PM (Noon) PST. Any late entries will be discarded.
4. If a Player fails to Register an OW Guess for all Movies in Wide Release for that particular Weekend, all other OW Guesses for that particular Weekend will be discarded.
5. Scoring is based upon the Variance for each Movie in Wide Release (Variance is defined as the difference between the OW Guess and the Official Adjust Price).
6. Scoring is based upon the Total Variance for all of the Movies in Wide Release for that particular Weekend, Players being Ranked Lowest Total Variance (BEST) to Highest Total Variance (WORST).
7. For each Weekend, Scoring Points are Awarded to the Top Five (5) Players (Total Variance) on the following basis: 10 (Lowest Total Variance) - 7 - 5 – 3 – 1.
8. In the event of a Tie, Scoring Points are totaled for the Players in the Tie and divided by the number of Players in the Tie. In the event that there are multiple Players Tied for the fifth (5th) Position, all Players Tied for the fifth (5th)
Position shall be Awarded 1 Scoring Point.
9. The OW Championship is won by the Player who accumulates the most cumulative Scoring Points for each Quarter.
10. All Decisions by the OW Competition Commissioner (Sideshow13) are Final.
