A few suggestions

1. Focus on the movies opening this weekend - see if you can predict what they will open and see if you think they are over/under priced - sites like Box Office Mojo, Box Office.com and various others get posted on the Movies message board. Remember the opening weekend is typically multipled by 2.7 to get the adjusted figure - so, if something is currently priced at 15, you think it will make 10 millon on it's opening weekend, buy it as it will adjust to 27 (if you are correct)

2. Understand how much profit you think you will make in terms of a percentage (it's better to make $5 per share on a $20 per share investment than $10 per share on a £200 per share investment)

3. Learn how the Star Bond adjusts work - there is some guaranteed profit there once you understand how it works

4. Look at some of the funds and see how they invest and change - these are experienced traders who started where you are and have learnt

5. Have fun
