I have learned a lot from the Port Value League. It's good to be in so you can try to beat people...
When I first started I didn't know what to do and then I took a long break like 5-6 years or so. I joined the Port Value League at 10M and was able to have a competition with the others there and that is quite fun. You can always ask people in the forums as well and people are usually happy to help. Hope you have fun trading.

One thing that you can do is track your % gained on the stock. You know you will be charged 2% total... Jun 28, 14:31
