After reading JDolphins post about the idea of selling a stock which has risen a lot, vs holding onto it until the end, to perhaps maximize a slight bit more profit, I decided to take a "middle of the road" stance.
I had about 50,000 shares of Hunger Games 2, which I had done very well on, and about 30,000 shares of Avengers, which Ialso made a good deal of $$ on. I decided to reduce the amount of shares in both stocks to about 10,000 shares each, thus taking away a good deal of profit in the time I've had them, and yet still leaving a fair amount of each stock, to allow for more increase, while also allowing me better cash flexibility to buy more stocks. I had most of my cash tied up in stocks. Now, with the sales I've made today, even taking into account other purchases I have made, I now hold much more cash than I have at any time probably since I started playing the game..
Hopefully this strategy will work. It just seems wise to me.
