Gotta question and/or need some advice about a short. Dorfman May 19, 05:54

are you *sure* its a good short? if its based on box office where you know it will go down, then hold and wait. if you are just speculating, islander May 19, 06:14

half and half.. lol Half based on box office and other half is speculating. {nm} Dorfman May 19, 06:24

if it involves memorial day wknd, the holds are usually much better. islander May 19, 06:33

yeah that's the one kink in the armor so to speak lol {nm} Dorfman May 19, 06:51

Reshorting is just wasting commission. If you hold it, you'll still recover your loss if it goes back down. {nm} socby19 May 19, 07:31

I think you are better off just holding it..why spend $ on commissions? Hold it and you'll earn the $ back anyway if the short works! {nm} Flash May 19, 09:03

Yeah.. I know this. LOL Guess I still hate looking at H$500k in red. {nm} Dorfman May 19, 09:08

Yep, I do too...I'm upside down $3M on one stock, but I've kept it, knowing it will go back up at some point... {nm} Flash May 19, 09:10

Fantastic Beasts? If so, I'm doing the same. Still need to make back 2M of the losses. {nm} Willroast May 19, 14:50

ouch really?? Guess the director news didn't help you much {nm} Dorfman May 19, 15:54

Every little bit helps! Once it goes back over 110, I'll be even again. I think I'll need more than a direcctor for that though.haha {nm} Willroast May 19, 17:48

Oh I thought you meant you had shorted it. {nm} Dorfman May 20, 04:22

Glad I held out.. I was in the red half a mil now I'm in the green. {nm} Dorfman May 21, 12:04
