The SCIFI Fund started out in May getting clobbered. There was recovery in the later half of the month. (1952) and (MMAX4) did not behave exactly as to how I would have liked for them to. We cashed in (MAGIE) which showed a nice profit. I did this in order to free up money for more profitable adventures.
SCIFI ended up in the middle of the Movie Fund pack this month with approximately a 12% profit. This personally disappointing to me as the previous two months exceed up over 20% profit. It was not a bad month, but certainly not one of my better months thus far in my short period of time as the SCFI Fund manager. Also, the recent atomic bomb that went off on the HSX Data Base was not helpful. Not only to the SCIFI Fund, but the HSX community at large. A small amount of blame in down profits this month must be attributed to this unforseen event.
Coming up in June will be what is hoped to be a big blockbuster hit with (JURA4). This is on my must see movie list this year. There has been megatons of promotions for this movies in commericals, trailers, Mercedes adds, and the talk show circut. The price is steap on this one currently, but my eye is on it and I am keeping close tabs.
This is my report to the shareholders and I appreciate your confidence in me and this fund.
