If you read the description for the AFRAM fund, it also depends on the roles they play and is at the discretion of the fund manager.

I agree it is kind of a close call, but until HSX better defines some of the things that MovieFunds can and cannot do, what qualifies and what does not then some lead way must be given and close calls fall to the side of the MovieFund. We have this huge big grey area that needs to be defined by HSX. Until then IMHO, all close calls fall to the side of the fund manager. Therefore your answer is AFRAM does qualify. We also have the same situation with ASIAN Fund and Irrfan Khan. Irrfan Khan is from India. Yet India is a part of the continent of Asia and the peoples not normally considered to be Asian. So are we going to judge based on country or continent. A part of Russia is in the continent of Asia too. So do Russian actors and Russian themed movies qualify for the Asian Fund? I would say this call has to fall with the Asian Fund until HSX defines what is Asian and what is not. Asian to me is more of a race and culture and should not be defined as the continent you live on. Thus in my view Russia, India, Pakistan and such are not Asian even though a part of the Asian continent. I defy anyone to get Vladimir Putin to say he is Asian...get the point? But until HSX takes a stand and defines this big grey area then it as to fall to the favor of the fund managers. So that's my view on the subject and I see nothing wrong here on the part of the AFRAM fund.
