Your Theory is Out-To-Lunch. Explanation Inside.

Posted by: RotoHockey2013MainPort on Aug 18, 16:05 in response to NeilSite's post I have a theory...

1. Your Portfolio is likely not Diversified at all. Most, maybe even all, of your Port (114 M/S) is likely held in the LONG Position.

2. With the Elimination of the ADJUSTS, there has been a Downward Adjustment on many (most) of the BlockBuster M/S.

3. The ROTO Port (9.2 BILLION) currently Holds 96% of its 1,190 M/S in the SHORT Position (1,142 M/S) & just 4% in the LONG Position (48 M/S).

4. If a M/S is Dropping in Value, those Holding it in the SHORT Position are making a PROFIT while those Holding it in the LONG Position are incurring LOSSES.

5. No HSX Port has ever been Fined 5.0 BILLION.

6. Having a Negative Port does not equate into Manipulation in any Fashion whatsoever. The Negative Port is trying to LOSE Money - just the Exact Opposite of a Port trying to make PROFITS.

7. Your Comments about the grory Port are just plain GOOFY. The grory Port is a Retired Port which certainly Holds a significant number of StarBonds. By Definition, it is Impossible for any Manipulation to occur when no Trades are being made.

8. The recent Mega-IPO's (GOTG3) & (WOND2) created Massive Selling of BlockBuster M/S in order for many Ports to BUY these Mega-IPO's. Many Ports could see this coming in Advance and were prepared. Many other Ports weren't prepared.

9. In the Last Week just 120 Ports made a PROFIT of 3.0 MILL or greater. Many Ports suffered Massive Losses due to the back-to-back Mega-IPO's (Jokingly referred to as Seasonal Adjustments).

10. Stats for the Last Week Ended 15AUG17:

http://www.kaigee.com/Gainers/100/Week/170816

11. Many Ports have suffered Catastrophic Losses in the Last two (2) Weeks due in large part, or solely, to the Mass Selling of BlockBuster M/S in order for many Ports to BUY (GOTG3) & (WOND2).

12. Some Ports could see this coming.

I have a theory... NeilSite Aug 18, 07:03

Maybe. Or it could be inadvertent. dubord.s Aug 18, 07:30

grory is a woman, fyi, and once she hit #1, she retired - her $ holdings did not disappear when she retired; she is not a manipulator {nm} daveart Aug 18, 08:45

Yep. Plus, grory has the lowest YTD gain of the top 10 traders. The suggestion that she is a manipulator is not well thought out. {nm} RogerMore Aug 18, 09:29

one more thing to consider .... i don't know specifics, but my general observation IM is, i believe still valid ... Those_left_behind Aug 19, 17:05

It could be bunnies. {nm} DTravel Aug 20, 09:46

Ahhh.. I miss Anya {nm} Muroolok Aug 22, 06:25

My response (to 'I have a theory...') NeilSite Aug 20, 10:21

Neil, you response shows a severe lack of understanding how HSX works and the history of the game. DTravel Aug 20, 13:05

My response... to your response... RazorHawk Aug 20, 16:03

Well said Razor a fine display of demolishing ignorant. {nm} blaze223 Aug 20, 22:42

Thanks for your responses NeilSite Aug 23, 11:58

Thank you . {nm} blaze223 Aug 23, 12:19

Neil, you don't have to spend a lot of time here to do well at the game. DTravel Aug 23, 12:48

In the times I'd forget to check in for a year or more, I'd notice my rank went way down simply due to people passing me. {nm} arf Aug 30, 17:43

I hold every MovieStock; more than half short. I now only make a couple of trades a day. Still doing well. {nm} edzep -- Port Monkey! Aug 24, 04:52
