The usual thing would be for FANF2 to be repurposed as "the next Fantastic Four movie"
As one example, SPID6 was IPOd way back in 2013. SPID5 was released in 2014, the deal between Marvel and Sony happened and SPID6 moved from being "the next Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movie" to "the first MCU Spider-Man movie"
Similarly, SUPR2 was originally the moviestock for the sequel to the Brandon Routh Superman movie. It hung around as a moviestock for years and then became the moviestock for the first DCEU Superman movie.
