Low volatility + Not enough active players
There simply aren't enough traders to move some securities to their proper positions. That's why the Dr Strange BW is $15 arb a few hours before delist. There are ~17 million shares long, which is ~700 players maxed out on the warrant. It would require several hundred (maybe thousands) more active traders to get it to the correct valuation. Or HSX would have to crank up volatility to absurd levels.
Just look at the leaderboard. 19 of the top 50 accounts have started since April. #8 and #19 started in June. You started in May and are already #23, as are fellow May's #10, 28 and 30. Not to be the old man telling you pesky kids to get off my lawn, but being on the STD or YTD leaderboard used to be much more difficult. Day trading was far more important and you had to time the market right. Now you just buy a few securities and wait for the money to flow into your account. Too bad real world trading isn't as easy.
